The friends of Thringstone litterpick event
Friends of Thringstone's litter pick today was a huge success.
Thanks to the 12 members and 4 guests who came to work with 18 Brownies and 2 staff and clear the village of litter.
22 bags of rubbish were collected in total, plus 2 old kid's scooters, a tyre, a wheel, roofing felt and carpets.
The Brownies were a credit to their group and their parents for their enthusiasm and politeness.

Once again, many thanks to all who helped, and thanks to Janet and Aileen (and Amelia) for their skills in the kitchen. The snack meal afterwards was wonderful.
